The reason I am scoring this arrangement a 5 is that Silver Stars had the exact same arrangement formula two years in a row. They started by quoting a well known song that didn't necessarily relate to the theme of their tune, enter into the piece and do theme and variations, and finally ended both times with a held chord being cut off by their director jumping off stage. That being said, this group can PLAY. Their energy was well deserving of the high points they actually scored in the Panorama competition. I think Silver Stars is one of those bands that tends to beat their pans to death, so their tone I rated a 7.
